The bad boy returned to Weatherfield as a new day, and new year, dawned and his first plan was revenge on Adam Barlow for seeing him away in the first place.
Viewers of the ITV soap were first introduced to the character back in December 2022 as he made his way onto the cobbles to find his son, Jacob Hay, just when his life was on the up and he had dropped his criminal past.
