Coronation Street have said something 'will be wrong' if a trio of the soap's actors don't win awards for their latest performances.
Charlie Wrenshall and Luca Toolan have been breaking viewers' hearts with the ITV soap's harrowing bullying storyline. Mason Radcliffe, played by Luca, has been relentless in his bullying campaign against Charlie's character Liam Connor ever since his arrival on-screens last year.
The Weatherfield High student hasn't been alone in the taunting and abuse of the fellow teen with his gang of mates, including Liam's neighbour and former friend Dylan Wilson, also involved.
The bullying campaign recently resulted in the heartbreaking discovery that Liam was contemplating taking his own life with his mum Maria Connor watching his every move as she tries to get help for his mental health as well as get some kind of justice for her son in the form of school and police intervention.
