Coronation Street fans have said 'Please don't hate me' as they gave their verdict over a possible new romance following Nick Tilsley's bombshell claim.

Viewers of the ITV soap are aware that Nick and Toyah Habeeb have had a secret brief fling. They had previously predicted the pair could find solace in one another after Toyah's heartbreaking baby secret was uncovered and Nick found himself being pushed away from his partner Leanne Battersby due to her involvement with Rown Cunliffe and The Institute.

Nick and Toyah soon shared a kiss and later, after more run-ins with Leanne and Rowan, the pair got close once again and slept together.

They were then shocked to learn Toyah was pregnant, only for her to later be given the news she has ovarian cancer, which gave the false pregnancy result.
