Coronation Street fans think they have 'rumbled' Shona Platt's next move - and it's not looking good for her husband David. As viewers of the ITV soap know, the cafe worker has been unaware of David's deceptive behaviour.

Fans will recall seeing David sneaking around last month, intercepting letters sent through the post and deleting emails from Shona's laptop before it was revealed she was being contacted by Weatherfield Prison about her son, Clayton Hibbs, who killed David's late wife, Kylie Platt.

David later paid a visit to Clayton in prison, with the latter speaking desperately about wanting to see his mum. But when David made it clear that that wasn’t going to happen, he relented and agreed to talk to him instead. But David seemed rattled by Clayton talking about Kylie and ending up lying to him and told him that Shona didn’t want to hear from him, and that he was dead to her.
