Coronation Street fans pick major hole in Abi Webster's drug reform plot
ok.co.ukCoronation Street has an Abi Webster-shaped plot hole going on right now. During Monday's hour-long episode of the ITV soap, the former drug addict spied her old dealer Dean Turnbull skulking away from the Webster's Autocentre entrance.
In reality, he'd come to scare newcomer Cassie Plummer into squaring a £70 debt with him, yet Abi assumed that he was back on the scene looking to do some business with her.
Having witnessed Abi then ring Dean up, ordering him to back off, Corrie fans on social media pointed out that if she was truly off the hard drugs, she'd have deleted his phone number ages ago. "Why does Abi still have the number of her ex-dealer saved onto her phone. #corrie," asked one of them, before three more concurred: "Love how Abi still has her drug dealer on speed dial", "So hang on, Abbie is in 'recovery' yet has the smack dealers number on speed dial?" and "Abi is done with her old dealer but obviously keeps his number on her phone.
