Corrie villain Geoff (Ian Bartholemew) has been tormenting Yasmeen (Shelley King) for the best part of a year, at the heart of a harrowing domestic abuse storyline.
Things came to a head on tonight's episode when Yasmeen finally fought back – resulting in bloodshed. Tensions were high throughout the evening, starting when Geoff urged his wife to wear a flowing red gown as they headed to the pub.
The manipulative businessman had discovered Yasmeen's plans to escape their marriage, and resorted to forceful behaviour to regain control.
