It was an exciting night for some of the street's residents as the Rovers Return reopened just in time to mark the end of 2023 and celebrate the start of 2024.
Daisy and Jenny Connor have used unscrupulous means to get their hands back on the beloved boozer. After Daisy did some digging, the barmaid, and now secret Rovers co-owner, found the money dead serial killer Stephen Reid stole from Underworld for his escape before being killed by Peter Barlow.
But while the pair were busy hosting their former regulars for the first time in months, Daisy's mind was elsewhere and once dressed to the nines, Jenny suggested she go and see ex-fiance Daniel Osbourne and attempt to make amends after he ended their relationship over her cheating with Ryan Connor.
