Coronation Street viewers were left delighted tonight as Asha Alahan and Nina Lucas finally acted on their feelings and kissed.

Roy's niece, played by Molly Gallagher, has become close to Asha (Tanisha Gorey) over the last few months as she has become a supportive part of her life - particularly when it came to her nasty boyfriend Corey.

And tonight, Asha set about her first trial shift in the cafe and Corey arrived, trying to get her to give him another chance.

But Asha stood firm and told him in no uncertain terms that he was dumped, prompting Nina to applaud her. As Corey shot daggers at Nina, he stormed out and Asha and Nina were left alone.
