Coronation Street fans confused by Daisy Midgeley's baby timeline as 'foreshadowing' hints at another exit

Coronation Street fans have been left confused by news on Daisy Midgeley's pregnancy as she still doesn't know who the father while some of her latest comments have triggered suspicion that she may not leave the cobbles alone.

Actress Charlotte Jordan confirmed earlier this month that she will be bowing out of the ITV soap this year after four years in the role of Daisy.

The star said in a statement: "My time at Coronation Street is something I'll always cherish. "After a brilliant four years for Daisy, it's time for me to start a new chapter and explore other opportunities." She added: "It’s been a privilege to be part of a wonderful institution with even more wonderful colleagues who have taught me so much." But as fans of the ITV soap know, there was a surprise for the Rovers Return co-owner and barmaid - and viewers - on Christmas Day as she was seen glancing down at a positive pregnancy test while sitting on the stairs in the back of the pub, where she lives with her former step-mum and pub co-owner Jenny Connor.

The shock news, however, has left Daisy wondering would the father couple be after having enjoyed a one-night stand with her ex-fiance Daniel Osbourne while also embarking on a new 'exclusive' relationship with newcomer DC Kit Green.
