Coronation Street fans could hardly believe what they were seeing on Friday’s instalment of the popular ITV soap, when mild mannered police office Craig Tinker unveiled a ruthless streak after discovering girlfriend Faye still had feelings for her ex.

Tensions were already running high this week after Craig began to grow more suspicious of Faye as she spent time with ex, Jackson, the father of her daughter Miley.

Sneaking around behind Craig’s back, it was clear romance was blossoming between the pair, with Faye skilfully trying to hide her tracks by throwing a surprise party for Craig to stop him from becoming suspicious.

However, things soon took a drastic turn as Faye was nowhere to be seen at the party she had organised, prompting Craig’s mum Beth to weigh in on the situation as she suggested that Faye could be cheating on him and urged him to be careful.
