Police have described the disappearance of a Scots woman as ‘unusual’ after she vanished in the early hours of the morning.
Gillian Sturrock, 39, was last known to be on Ravensby Road in Carnoustie at around 5am on Thursday October 20. Investigators say it is not like Gillian to have left without telling anyone where she was going and to have not been in touch with her family, who are growing increasingly concerned.
She may be travelling in her black Citroen C1 car, registration SP12 UNZ, and may be wearing a black fleece jacket. Gillian is described as white, approximately 5ft 7in tall, of medium to heavy build and has blonde shoulder length hair.Inspector Martin Jenkins said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have seen Gillian or her vehicle or knows of her whereabouts to contact Police Scotland.“It is really out of character for Gillian not to have been in contact with her family.
We urge anyone with any information get in touch with us, and Gillian if you see this, please let us know you are okay.”Anyone with any information should contact police via 101 or contact any Police officer, quoting incident number 1389 of Thursday, 20 October, 2022.
