Cops have released a detailed description of an unknown woman who is fighting for her life in hospital after being hit by a car in Glasgow city centre.
Officers are still seeking to identify the injured woman after she was struck by a grey VW Tiguan at around 8.15pm on Elmbank Street at its junction with St Vincent Street on Thursday, February 2.
Mercy crews sped to the scene and the victim was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where she remains in a critical condition.
The driver of the car, a 57-year-old man, was not hurt.Extensive enquiries are underway to find out who the woman is so her family can be notified of the incident.
