Cops probing ‘suspicious package’ at Buchanan Bus Station search for man seen with cardboard box

Police investigating a ‘suspicious package’ incident at Buchanan Bus Station in Glasgow are asking anyone who saw a man carrying a cardboard box to come forward.

The busy transport hub was evacuated while emergency services - including a bomb team - raced to the scene at around 12.15pm yesterday.

Members of the public were urged to avoid the Killermont Street area while specialists examined the mystery container.
