Police have issued an update on their murder investigation following the death of a man in Salford. Greater Manchester Police were called out to Seedley Road at around 4pm on Friday (May 5) following a disturbance.
A man was found injured at the scene and was taken to hospital by ambulance. He was later pronounced dead at 5.10pm. Officers arrested a 52-year-old man on suspicion of murder following the death.

Neighbours on the estate - described as 'quiet' by multiple residents - were left shocked at the scenes unfolding before them, as children played on the street against a backdrop of police tape. "It's absolutely horrible," one woman told the Manchester Evening News. "This estate is full of children.
