A stolen dog that was 'thrown from a car window' in Dundee has sparked a major police investigation. On Sunday afternoon the dog, a small Jack Russell cross terrier, was on its lead and secured to a pole in its owners garden in the city's Turriff Street.
At around 4.30pm the owner realised that his pooch was missing. A few minutes later he found the dog in nearby Amercianmuir Road, 'shaking and scared'.A group of people were assisting in trying to calm the dog.They told the owner they had seen it being thrown from a black car with tinted rear windows.The car is believed to have been either a BMW or an Audi.Fortunately the dog was not injured but left firghtened.Officers in Dundee are now appealing for information and for any witnesses to
