A drug dealer's £24,000 cannabis farm was discovered by accident when police officers turned up to deal with a brawl between various gang members.
Marek Pesta, 31, and the gang leader were among the people who had to be pulled apart by officers who turned up at the flat in Arbroath.
They were met with an overwhelming smell of cannabis and a cursory search discovered a large-scale cannabis farm growing within the property.Pesta told Dundee Sheriff Court he had been lured to the area to work by a gangmaster and had then found out his job was to tend to the illicit crop.The court was told that he was frightened to leave because it was rumoured that the "formidable" gangmaster had access to guns and had a serious history of violence.He said
