More than £200,000 worth of counterfeit clothes have been seized by police after a raid in Cheetham Hill. Officers executed a warrant at premises on Park Place, off Chetham Hill Road on the outskirts of the city centre, earlier this week.
Inside, they found several boxes of clothes and shoes believed to have a street value of £215,000 following the raid on Wednesday (January 17).
The items will be 'repurposed or destroyed where appropriate' Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said. No arrests were made but 'significant intelligence' was gained the force said.
The operation involved neighourhood officers from Cheetham Hill, GMP's Challenger team, and the specialist Operation Vulcan team. Try MEN Premium now with our amazing New Year offer...
