Controlling ex blew up courtroom in killer terror spree during custody battle

During the 1980s, Sydney, Australia, was shaken to the core by a series of violent crimes. Over the course of five years, someone was using guns and bombs to target members of the judicial service.

It was a campaign of terror that left three dead, many injured and scores more mentally scarred. Incredibly, it all began with an argument about a Tupperware party and it would take decades to bring the culprit to justice.

In October 1974, firefighter and ex-service man Leonard John Warwick married Andrea Blanchard. They had a daughter together and settled in Sydney.

But within six months of marriage, Andrea saw a controlling side to Warwick. He kept her isolated from her loved ones and didn’t even let her have keys to the house.
