Work is now getting underway on the project to create a new accessible footbridge for passengers at Uddingston railway station.Teams are currently setting up compounds and preparing for construction work on the new access and lift system to begin in early December.Passengers will see changes to access during the year-long project including traffic management in the car park, while neighbouring residents are being warned in advance of both “night and day working” taking place.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
