Conor McGregor will bank another eight-figure cheque whether or not he beats Dustin Poirier tonight. McGregor returns to the UFC after a one-year absence but remains the highest-paid fighter on the promotion's roster.
The Irishman will likely pick up a $3million (£2m) purse, a sum he first earned for his rematch with Nate Diaz in 2016. He has earned the same fee for his last four fights and it may well be bolstered by a $50,000 (£36,000) performance bonus.
