Conor McGregor has hinted at another comeback after posting a cryptic tweet which read simply, "I accept". The former two-weight UFC world champion retired for a third time in four years last month.
He claimed he was no longer excited by any of the fights on offer having missed out on a clash with Justin Gaethje. McGregor must now watch from the sidelines as the American challenges 155lb champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in October.
But the Irishman's tweet, which had no context and no follow-up, hints he may be ready to return to the Octagon. In recent days both Tony Ferguson, who lost to Gaethje in April, and rising star Khamzat Chimaev have called out the Dubliner.
