Conor McGregor provides update on his future following UFC return

Conor McGregor expects to return to the UFC in the near future - and has confirmed his intention to box again. The former two-weight world champion returned to the octagon in January with a 40-second demolition of Donald Cerrone.

He has yet to confirm his next fight - which could well be delayed by the coronavirus outbreak - but has his eye on a rematch with Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The lightweight champion is due to defend his title against Tony Ferguson on April 18, but that fight too is in doubt. McGregor previously promised to fight three times this year and expects to make an announcement soon.
