Conor McGregor attends aunt's funeral after confirming she did not die from coronavirus

Conor McGregor has paid his final respects to his aunt as he confirmed she did not die from coronavirus. The former UFC champion initially appeared to say his aunt Ann had been a victim of the outbreak which has claimed the lives of more than 6,500 people worldwide.

But he later clarified that she had not suffered from the virus. And on Monday he and his girlfriend Dee Devlin joined around 100 mourners in Dublin at the funeral.

McGregor, who arrived in a Range Rover, had said over the weekend: "I want to clear up that it has been confirmed she was not a victim of coronavirus. "I am grateful for the kind wishes and sympathy for my Auntie's passing. "As we prepare for her funeral, I know that many of us will confront the virus in the weeks
