Connor Goldson believes Rangers are heading to a different level under Philippe Clement. The defender celebrated his 300th game in a 5-0 Ibrox trouncing of Hearts as they cemented their table topping status.It’s now one defeat in 27 games for Clement who has overturned Celtic’s seven point lead at the top in his five months in charge and has his side fighting on all fronts at home and in Europe.
And Goldson admitted he’s “really excited” at the thought of where the club is heading thanks to the high demands of their boss.He said: “I’m really enjoying it.
I have said it from the start, the demands that the manager puts on us, not only in games but day by day in training, is the main reason that we’re doing so well.
He doesn’t let standards drop in any training session. He wants us to reach a different level to what we are at. And I think now the boys are really believing that we can.“You see the football that we are starting to play, the tempo that we are starting to play at.
