Conan O’Brien is returning as the host of the 2026 Academy Awards! The 61-year-old comedian and talk show host took the stage as a first-time host of the Oscars for the recent 2025 show, and has officially accepted the offer to host for a second time next year. “The only reason I’m hosting ‘The Oscars’ next year is that I want to hear Adrien Brody finish his speech,” Conan said in a statement, joking about the length of Adrien‘s speech.

It was also confirmed that event producers Raj Kapoor and Katy Mullan will return as the show’s executive producers for the third consecutive year, with producers Jeff Ross and Mike Sweeney also being brought back.
