A company has approached North Lanarkshire Council seeking permission to construct an ethanol storage tank setup. Contract Bottlers Ltd has submitted a planning application for tanks with a storage capacity of up to 90,000 litres of ethanol, to be located in Deerdykes Road within the Westfield Park industrial estate in Cumbernauld.On its website the company states it is the first truly independently owned bottling and canning production site in Scotland, serving various producers of alcoholic products such as craft and artisan spirits.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
