Adam B. Vary Senior Entertainment Writer This week, San Diego Comic-Con is rolling out its schedule for the 2024 convention this week, which runs from July 25–28.
For the first time since 2019, SDCC will unfold without a virtual event, pandemic protocols or labor strike cancelations, marking a return to normal of sorts for the largest annual fan gathering in North America.
Along with SDCC’s announcement of the full schedule for Thursday, July 25, several major franchises have already announced their panels later into the festival, including “The Penguin,” “Star Trek,” “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power,” and “The Boys.” Here are the highlights so far, with descriptions from SDCC and/or the panel sponsors.
