Comedians John Mulaney and Pete Davidson have postponed a pair of Maine shows scheduled for this weekend, in the aftermath of the Oct.
25 mass shooting in the town of Lewiston that left 18 people dead and 13 injured, according to Maine Governor Janet Mills. “We are devastated by the events in Lewiston,” wrote Mulaney in a message posted to his Instagram stories, on the part of himself and Davidson. “Shows scheduled for this weekend in Maine on Saturday, 10/28 and Sunday, 10/29 have been postponed.
We are thinking of you all.” The manhunt continues on Thuraday for shooting suspect Robert Card, who should be considered “armed and dangerous,” per Mills.
Maine State Police have ordered a shelter in place in the cities of Lewiston, Lisbon and Bowdoin amidst the continuance of the search, which has already led to the ID of Card’s white SUV.
