Comedian's Lanarkshire show WILL go ahead despite being cancelled at Fringe amid claims of racism and flashing

Controversial comedian Jerry Sadowitz's Lanarkshire show will still go ahead despite claims of him flashing and making racial remarks on stage at the weekend.

Jerry Sadowitz was due to perform for the second time at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival on Saturday before the show was cancelled due to a number of complaints from the night before.The 60-year-old allegedly used racist language and is said to have exposed himself to a female audience member.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

One of those is scheduled for Hamilton Town House on October 7. And as things stand, it will go ahead as planned. South Lanarkshire Council, along with organisers South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture (SLLC), say they are aware of the current controversy surrounding Sadowitz and, having discussed the matter with the Scots comic's promoters, are "satisfied" his performance in Hamilton will not be affected.
