Colman Domingo (Rustin) has closed a deal to join Tina Fey and Steve Carell in The Four Seasons, Netflix‘s forthcoming comedy series based on the Universal Pictures title of the same name.
Details as to the role Domingo is playing are under wraps, but he’ll be another series regular. Written and directed by Alan Alda, produced by Martin Bregman, and starring Alda and Carol Burnett, 1981’s The Four Seasons tells the story of three couples who vacation together every season.
Hailing from Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, and Fey’s production company Little Stranger, Inc., the Four Seasons series will be exec produced by Fey, Fisher, Wigfield, David Miner, Eric Gurian and Jeff Richmond.
Alda and Marissa Bregman will produce the series scripted by Fey, Fisher and Wigfield, which enters production later this year.
