As Ireland continues to become a hotspot for Hollywood filmmaking, the latest star sighting was one of the country’s own, as actor Colin Farrell was snapped buying something every Irish person had in their freezer in the 80s and 90s on Achill Island.
Colin, who is currently on the Mayo island filming for Oscar-winning writer and director Martin McDonagh’s latest flick, has proved that despite his A-list status he is not a man of expensive taste as he opted for a humble box of Birds Eye’s finest Potato Waffles.
The new movie, titled The Banshees of Inisherin began filming in Achill back in August and see’s Colin, who is also set to star in the new BBC Two drama The North Water, reunite with his In Bruges co-star and fellow Irishman Brendan
