COLEEN Rooney has signed a multimillion-pound deal with Disney+ and will now earn more than husband Wayne. The streaming giant is paying for the rights to the mum of four’s tell-all Wagatha Christie documentary, The Sun can reveal.
Coleen, 36, signed up after a bidding war with rival networks including Amazon Prime, Netflix and Discovery. The warts and all production, about her falling out with ex-pal and Wag Rebekah Vardy, 40, will be made by Lorton Entertainment, which released Wayne’s Rooney documentary this year.
Last night, a source said: “This is a massive deal for Coleen — in every sense. For the first time in 20 years, she will be the main breadwinner.” Wayne, 36, who manages MLS side DC United in Washington, US, earns a reported £800,000 a year.
