The mum-of-four, 37, opens up for the very first time about her famous libel case against Rebekah Vardy, dubbed Wagatha Christie, in the three-part series.The Real Wagatha Story will detail how Coleen turned amateur online sleuth to find an explanation for why private stories about her and her family continued to appear in the media.
It will look at the circumstances around her viral social media post in October 2019, in which she said she had carried out a months-long “sting operation” and accused Rebekah, 41, the wife of footballer Jamie Vardy, of leaking “false stories” about her private life to the press.
Rebekah and Coleen then faced each other in court last summer in a 10-day trial which gripped the nation. Mum-of-five Rebekah lost the libel battle over the post, after a High Court judge found it was “substantially true”.
