It was an emotional night in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Camp on Friday night. As well as the first eviction from the jungle, the campmates were heard in some deep, and emotional chats, as Coleen Rooney opened up about her two miscarriages.
In camp, Oti Mabuse and GK Barry sat down with Coleen to talk about the origins of her kids’ names: Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass.
Explaining why she didn’t spell Cass with a ‘K’ like his three brothers, the 38-year-old said: “I looked up the meaning of the name Cassius and with a K it meant blackbird, and with a C it meant clever.” Coleen also revealed the adorable meaning of his middle name, Mac originating from her maiden name, McLoughlin, and her friends nicknaming her Coleen Mac.
She then revealed that Cass has the same initials as her, CMR, with her middle name being Mary. Speaking on having four boys, Coleen revealed she would have liked a girl for Wayne, although she wasn’t too bothered. “I would’ve liked a girl for Wayne, I wasn’t desperate, he would’ve liked a girl, I wasn’t bothered either way,” she said, before revealing she had two miscarriages in the past. “I’ve had two miscarriages and I don’t know whether that has been girls, you know sometimes they say you can’t carry a certain sex, but they don’t investigate until you have your third one,” she revealed. The star then told Oti and GK that she had her first miscarriage before she had any children, with the second miscarriage coming before she had Kit and Cass.
