Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy Wagatha Christie 'talks break down' with court deadline days away

Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy's attempts to settle the Wagatha Christie case have failed, it's alleged. The duo reportedly met for peace talks with their lawyers on Thursday but failed to reach an agreement.

A High Court judge had given them a deadline of February 8 to come to agreement to avoid a trial. Rebekah, 38, is suing Coleen, 34, for libel over an Instagram post she made in 2019 in which she claimed Rebekah's account was behind a number of stories which had appeared in the papers.

Jamie Vardy's wife has vehemently denied being involved in the leaking of stories from Coleen's page. A source told The Sun : "The talks were supposed to bring the women closer to a resolution but it’s only made their differences more apparent.
