Coleen Nolan showed off a dramatic new hair look on today's Loose Women, as the TV star revealed an ultra long ponytail. The 57 year old mum-of-three, who was also once a pop star in the Nolan Sisters, laughed and joked about the "heavy" 'do with her fellow panellists.Taken-aback that she'd even been compared to superstar singer Ariana Grande, Coleen, who recently had discussions about her weight journey on the show, admitted while she loved wearing her hair long for special events, the maintenance was too much for her to cope with day to day.

ITV viewers know Coleen for her normally wavy blow-dries kept to a manageable shoulder length, but this time she opted for a sleek style scraped back away from her face.

Finding the response to Coleen's hair hilarious, as they all discussed whether they "love or loathe long locks", Jane Moore began: "You have tried this and you are already the subject of a newspaper headline.

"Loose Women fans dazed by Coleen Nolan's new Ariana Grande hair do," she read out as the rest of the panel chortled in glee. "Ariana Grand Lady," Janet Street Porter quipped, as Coleen gave her a sharp look. "Alright Janet!" she teased. "They're dazed, I feel like I've got a small child on my head. "It's so heavy," Coleen groaned, as Brenda Edwards continued with the hair jokes. "I mean it's 'unbeweavable'," she declared, and the rest of the group snickered once more. "How does it feel though do you like having hair that long?" Jane asked her friend and co-host, getting back on track.
