It's been just over a decade since Jake's band Rixton soared to the top of the UK charts with their hit Me and My Broken Heart, outshining some of the biggest global music acts.
However, The Mirror reports that the singer, who was once engaged to Little Mix star Jesy Nelson, has seen his fortunes fade in recent years.
Jake seemed destined for fame, much like his dad, Eastenders' Shane Richie (Alfie Moon), especially after his stint as Isaac Nuttall in Emmerdale in 2010.
