CNN announced additional new White House team members to cover the Donald Trump administration. As previously reported, Kaitlan Collins will serve as chief White House correspondent while also continuing to anchor her primetime show The Source.
She’ll be returning to Washington from New York. Kristen Holmes has been named senior White House correspondent, having previously been national correspondent, including spending the past two years on the trail covering Trump’s campaign.
Alayna Treene, reporter covering Trump’s campaign, will serve as a CNN reporter covering the White House. Chief National Affairs Correspondent Jeff Zeleny also will cover the Trump administration, including a focus on the influence and impact of the new administration’s policies.
Others will cover major issues of the new administration. Phil Mattingly, CNN anchor and chief domestic correspondent, will focus on cross-platform coverage of the economy, and correspondent Priscilla Alvarez will report on immigration.
