Clyde boss Danny Lennon says his side need to take on a more ruthless streak after dropping two valuable points away to Peterhead.Matthew Elsdon’s first goal for the club off an Adam Livingstone cross put the Bully Wee into the lead, something they maintained into stoppage time.It looked as if victory was in their grasp but Scott Brown’s goal at the death snatched victory away from Lennon’s men as they returned to Broadwood with just a point. The result keeps Clyde sixth in League One and results elsewhere mean they are just three points off Queen’s Park in fourth – the final promotion play-off spot – ahead of facing the Spiders on Saturday.Lennon said: “I thought we worked so hard in the match and we had a great shape about us throughout the game.“We come to a place that’s so hard to come to and we get ourselves ahead through a great header.“We started to smell victory but it’s why I say that this game is full of emotions.“You feel as if you’re there but it’s never over until it is over.

Peterhead never give in and they threw everything at us.“I thought our shape was good but in terms of when we won possession, we didn’t exploit the areas we needed to.“We need to learn to kill a game and that’s something that has cost us a massive two points.”Follow Lanarkshire Live Sport onTwitter via@LanLiveSport, like us onFacebookor find us onInstagramfor the latest sports news, pictures and video.
