Gigi Hadid goes back to striking blonde colour after months of being a redhead

It looks like Gigi Hadid is no longer a redhead, going back to her signature blonde shade. And while she can suit any hair colour under the sun, we have known and loved her as a blonde for most of her career, so it’s a welcome move for her fans.

After months with auburn hair, the model and mum of one has returned to her trademark blonde shade for the cover of the March issue of US fashion magazine InStyle, and fans were going wild for the return to blonde. “BLONDE GIGIII IS BACKKK” one excitedly commented on the star’s Instagram post of the cover, while another said, “Blonde Gigi <33333”. “She is so freaking gorgeous I’m like ahhhhhhh,” a third fan exclaimed, as a fourth wrote, “Old Gigi is coming back!” It’s not clear exactly when Gigi made the switch back to her bright blonde look, but some snaps shared to stylist Elizabeth Sulcer’s Instagram account (and the accompanying fan reactions) suggest that the change is a fairly recent one.

Gigi dyed her hair red back in March 2021 just a few months after welcoming her daughter, Khai, with then-boyfriend Zayn Malik.The pair called time on their relationship in November last year.Taking to Instagram back then to show off her fresh red hue, the model confirmed that she’d been inspired by hit Netflix show The Queen’s Gambit. “She is dedicated to everyone responsible for The Queen’s Gambit,” she captioned one of the snaps of her new look.
