Those who have found themselves a good contract may notice that after a while prices begin to skyrocket. That's typically because their contract is finished, and they have been automatically moved to a more expensive plan.
While these contracts typically cost much more, they can be avoidable with a little bit of haggling. HullLive journalist Sam Cooper has recently shared that he reduced his Sky Q TV package, including multiroom, and Sky's Superfast Broadband bill from £109.50 to £73.50 a month, saving him almost £600 on his bills.Writing for the publication, Sam explained: "I have been a Sky customer for six years now and knew my contract was about to come to an end.
For us loyal customers, sadly, that usually means one thing - a huge price increase."My contract price was £76.50, which included the full Sky Q TV package, including multiroom, and Sky's Superfast Broadband.
When I checked my future bills, this was due to jump to a truly eyewatering £109.50 once the contract came to an end and all of the marvellous offers loaded onto the account came to an end."He added: "It is something I am well aware of and prepared for at the end of each 18-month contract."Sam added the latest email told him his offers would continue and he 'wouldn't need to do a thing'.
