Angelique Jackson Cinespia has announced its lineup for October, celebrating the Halloween season with four fan-favorite horror classics.
The L.A.-based screening series wraps up its outdoor season at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery with 1974’s “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” on Oct.
5, a 15th anniversary screening of “Coraline” on Oct. 12 and “Trick ‘r Treat” on Oct. 19. On Halloween night, Cinespia will present 1977’s “Suspiria” at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles. “What better way to embrace the spooky season than by watching horror classics under the stars at a cemetery?” said Cinespia founder John Wyatt announcing the lineup. “We’re also thrilled to return to The Orpheum for the second consecutive year, hosting our fans on Halloween night for a special screening of the original ‘Suspiria.'” On Oct.
5, Cinespia celebrates the 50th anniversary of “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre,” the indie slasher about a group of five teenagers who face off against a deadly family in rural Texas.
