Christoper Jullien has sealed his exit from Celtic after penning a three-year deal with Montpellier, ending his stay at Parkhead.

The defender moved to Glasgow under Neil Lennon in a £7million move from Toulouse and helped the club to a Treble in his first season, scoring the winning goal in the Betfred Cup Final.

But the 29-year-old suffered an horrendous injury in his second campaign which wrecked his season and has fallen down the pecking order under Ange Postecoglou despite returning to fitness.

Jullien has been free to move on from Celtic and failed a medical at Schalke earlier this summer but has now found himself a new club with a return to France after finalising an agreement with Olivier Dall’Oglio’s Ligue 1 side.
