Christine McGuinness's self-confessed "laziness" has put her in trouble as she ended up experiencing an awkward mix up with her hotel room. The TV star opened up on her hilarious faux pas after she was safely checked into her hotel in London for the night, as she shared the video on her Instagram stories during a visit to the capital city. The 35 year old mum-of-three, who is now split from her husband Paddy McGuinness, admitted if she hadn't been such a "lazy b***h", the incident wouldn't have happened.

Following an "early morning sesh" in the gym and a trip down south, the Real Housewives of Cheshire star ended up stuck and struggling to find her hotel room after a rushed check-in.

Filming herself from her swanky hotel room, the reality TV star began: "So I've just got to London and checked into my hotel and the lady on reception gave me a keycard and told me what floor I was on but didn't say what room. "I'd already got in the lift and gone up to the floor and thought 'I'm not going back down now' so I just walked around the floor, checking every single door with my key card until one opened like a proper lazy b***h." As she continued to share her funny story, Christine admitted one of the rooms she tried was actually occupied, meaning an awkward encounter with another hotel guest ensued. "With one of the rooms, I put my key in the door and obviously there was a fella in there who heard me trying to open his door," the star laughed. "He came out and was like 'do you want me to help you find your room?'" Despite the shenanigans, Christine was in high spirits as she excitedly teased having a slew of work meetings. "I'm fine now - I'm in!" the star added.
