Christine Lampard was left having to apologise on behalf of her Loose Women co-star after she broke a golden TV rule during their latest TV appearance together.

While they're used to working alongside one another on the ITV lunchtime show, Linda actually joined Christine a little bit earlier in the day on ITV's Lorraine on Friday (August 2) where she is filling in for the programme's usual host Lorraine Kelly.

Among the topics up for discussion in their chat was Linda's comment about her dream soap role. Christine remarked: "There's one thing on the list and it's EastEnders isn't it?" I played Lou Bill's sister Flo Bill but I have hinted a few times that even a little cameo role or whatever," Linda explained before adding: "But I'd love to play a real b***h!" Christine started to laugh as Linda carried on with her answer, saying: "Or someone really nasty because I always get light parts." But the host cut in to say: "You know it's a funny thing because I thought, she knows it's early morning, she's not allowed to swear for me and you just let a little one slip so I'm sorry if no one likes that word." "What the B word?" Linda asked, seemingly confused, to which Christine reprimanded: "Don't say any other words!" Linda replied: "I didn't realise it was a bad word," as Christine explained they often had to tell her not to swear on Loose Women, with Linda joking herself she has the 'potty mouth' on the talk show.
