Christine Lampard quickly made amends after one of her Lorraine co-stars claimed that he'd been 'snubbed' off air.TV favourite Andi Peters, 54, brought the show to a pause on Thursday, 8 August when he told stand-in host Christine that he'd popped by to say the day prior, but found her dressing room empty.
While connecting via video link from Surrey, he cheekily interrupted the show and said: "Christine, by the way, I came by to see you yesterday, to say hello but you weren't in your dressing room." Andi playfully continued: "I don't know where you were but I was going to say hello to you before seeing you on the telly, but we're on the telly now anyway." Blushing and quick to make amends, Christine, 45, replied: "Awww well thank you, let's say hello now instead", reports the Mirror.
Laughing off any suggestion of tension, Andi warmly said: "You're welcome, you're welcome," before joking about how they were both "twinning" in blue outfits.
Christine, who is married to football icon Frank Lampard, is currently filling in as host of the ITV show while Scottish presenter Lorraine Kelly enjoys her summer holiday.
