Christian Pulisic has withdrawn from the United States squad to return to Chelsea. The American forward has been struggling with a hamstring injury in recent weeks.
The 22-year-old pulled out of the Blues clash with Burnley at Turf Moor in the warm up on October 31. He duly underwent a scan on the strain and returned to light training - before being told to rest up more.
He had hoped to figure for the US in the international break, to get more minutes under his belt. But now, both the Blues and US have decided it is best for him to sit out the current international fixtures and continue his rehab back at Cobham.
