Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Chris Sutton trolls Rangers ban as Celtic hero claims Ibrox lockout 'is like not getting into Lidl'

Chris Sutton has taken a dig at Rangers after he was banned from Ibrox – as he compared the knock back to being turned away from Lidl.

Sutton was again denied access to Ibrox when Celtic played Bayer Leverkusen in Germany, with BT Sport originally planning to set up the studio at Ibrox ahead of kick-off against Sparta Prague later in the evening.

The broadcast giants alternatively used a studio at an empty Celtic Park for their Europa League coverage. It follows on from a previous knock back in September when Sutton and Neil Lennon were not granted access to Ibrox for a previous round of matches as Rangers claimed it was down to security reasons.
