Chris Sutton believes rejecting an SPFL proposal to end the season early will see clubs go bankrupt, and warned "it's on the heads of the clubs who voted against".
On Friday clubs voted on a motion that would have seen the lower leagues ended immediately, while giving the SPFL the power to make the same decision at a later date.
The motion passed in the Premiership, League One and League Two but one Championship club failed to vote and the measure could not be passed.
In total three clubs, including one in the top flight, failed to cast a vote and the former Celtic striker believes the ramifications will be disastrous.
