Chris Martin mentioned Dakota Johnson a handful of times in his newest interview. The 47-year-old Coldplay frontman and 35-year-old actress – who reportedly have been secretly engaged for years – faced split rumors this year.

Her rep shot down those rumors. Keep reading to find out more… When Rolling Stone asked about their romance or the split rumors, he did not want to talk about it.

He did say, though, “It is important to say that [romantic love] is such a big factor in everything, even though it feels right to keep it precious and private; I’m not denying its power.” The mag also shared that he mentioned Dakota two other times.

First, he said they had both recently listened to Kacey Musgraves’ Golden Hour together. The next mentioned of her came when he listed some of his best friends: “Phil [Harvey], Dakota, Jonny [Buckland], Will [Champion] and Guy [Berryman],” who are his bandmates and Coldplay’s manager.
